What carries over from KML to GPX?

What does not carry over?
KML styles, icons, folders and ground overlays have no GPX equivalent and are dropped. KMZ files are unzipped in your browser first.

Is it free? Is there a size limit?
Free, with no account. There is no upload limit because nothing is uploaded; very large files (hundreds of megabytes) are limited only by your browser's memory.
